Maker Space (PreK)

This class is designed for our 3-4 year old learners and will be offered as a full-day class. Students in this PreK group will get an introduction to our maker space and will have the opportunity to explore and use engineering and math skills.

Fun with Science Tot (Grades K-2)

Household products are curiously inspiring: with a splash of food coloring and a teaspoon each of liquid starch and glue, we can concoct an elastic, slimy glob technically known as a "non-Newtonian fluid." We even make our own bubble gum! Come out and enjoy our course in the hands-on and edible. This is our Tot version, appropriate for grades K-2.

Maker Space Tot (Grades K-2)

Are you curious about how things work? You can use your own imagination and creativity during this week using LEGOs, simple science and stories. Come explore with us!

Minecraft Maker Space (Grades K-2)

Do you love Minecraft? This class is sure to be a creeper! Students will explore Minecraft-themed crafts, coding and more.

Exploratorium (Grades K-2)

Discover all that the world has to offer in this fun and exciting class about how the world works. We will discover and explore physics, chemistry, biology and more.

Lego Construction Playdate (Grades K-2)

We built this city with Legos! Students will work together to build a city that will be displayed at the museum! While engineering our city, students will learn about all the important parts that make up a successful city in their neighborhood.

Maker Space Tot 2 (Grades K-2)

Come to our maker space and explore hands on crafts, sewing, 3-D printing, LEGOs, programming and robotics. This session will focus on making with our little learners and will be part two of the class offered earlier in the summer.

Ms. Burt's Brick Party (Grades K-2)

Are you a fan of the Lego movies? Come party with Ms. Burt and Emmett as we engineer and design everything that is awesome. It will be cool being part of a team. Everything is awesome when you are living and learning in this course.

Base Camp Space (Grades K-2)

Did you know that we are projected to have a man on Mars by 2040? Learn about Mars and experience how we will colonize the planet in the near future. This interactive course will include science, technology, math and art.

Pokémon Trainer Course (Grades K-2)

Students embark on a Pokémon training journey including building with Legos, STEM-themed Pokémon projects and 3D printing. Come on in, we gotta catch em all!

Lego Learners With SPIKE (Grades K-2)

Students will build and create various engineering designed projects using LEGO SPIKE Robotic Kits. This handson class includes beginning coding skills.

Wings & Things (Grades K-2)

Discover and explore how animals and aircrafts have a lot in common. Investigate animals that can fly and how they have similar features to aircraft. This program is hands-on and project- based.

Old MacDonald's Farm (Grades K-2)

This class is all about the animals. Would you be a good farmer? Learn new and interesting facts about all sorts of farm animals, including how to care for them. We will have animals on premise for you to get hands on with.

Lego Learners With SPIKE 2 (Grades K-2)

Students will build and create various engineering designed projects using LEGO SPIKE Robotic Kits. You do not need to have completed Lego SPIKE 1 to participate in this class.

Building Construction Maker Space (Grades 3-8)

Our Makerspaces goal is to provide students with a hands-on, creative, user friendly, "anytime, anyplace", opportunity to build and create things. This class will allow students the opportunities to use basic construction building tools and build prevocational skills. We will be constructing projects that could include yard games like corn hole and Yahtzee! If you joined us last year, come again and make something brand new.

EV3 Lego Robotics (Grades 3-8)

Discover all that the world has to offer in this fun and exciting class about how the world works. We will discover and explore physics, chemistry, biology and more.

Forensics (Grades 3-8)

Solve the mystery at the museum while building your skills at forensics. This class will take a look back at murder mysteries from the past. You will use your STEM skills to solve the case.

Take Flight (Grades 3-8)

Hop into the pilot seat, learn the basics of aviation; take the controls and get ready to learn the basics behind flight. We will build airplanes and learn using actual flight simulators. Our new and upgraded virtual reality experience is heart stopping fun and excitement. This non-stop action is great for students that love video games and science. We will also be exploring, building, and launching rockets during this take flight course.

Fun with Science (Grades 3-8)

Household products are curiously inspiring: with a splash of food coloring and a teaspoon each of liquid starch and glue, we can concoct an elastic, slimy glob technically known as a "non-Newtonian fluid." We even make our own bubble gum! Come out and enjoy our course in the hands-on and edible.

Engineering Design with Water Fun (Grades 3-8)

Learn science, math and engineering while playing with the design of rollercoasters and water slides. Have you ever wondered why rollercoasters work? Why are water slides so fast? Could we build a better slip and slide? This hands-on camp will teach you how to think like an engineer. (Students will need to bring/wear under their clothes their bathing suits/clothes that can get wet and towels daily, as well as sunscreen.)

Robotics (Grades 3-8)

This open robotics maker space lets you take the wheel. We will have lots of different robotics options including NXT, RCX, VEX, drones and ROV. Student can explore each of these options or dive on into one that sparks their interest.

Prevocational Skills (Grades 3-8)

Learn about jobs that are in high demand and have a shortage of members. Get hands-on experience in construction, culinary, automotive and health care trades. Learn how to make yummy desserts.
